There's interest in him as a depth forward. I'm not going to argue with the other GMs. If they want him they can have him for whatever they are offering.

That's true.. Maybe he is a Melnyk type of player??

What do you expect in return for Plekanec? 2nd rounder?

Off the top of my head I'll go with conditional 2nd/3rd + prospect.

If Holden got a 3rd and a prospect, you would think Plekanec gets atleast a 2nd and a prospect.. Very underrated as a #3 centerman..

You can't compare trades to each other. Davidson just went for a 3rd and I don't believe he's anywhere near as good as Holden.

At least a second and B prospect or young NHLer for Plekanec I would hope.

If the Jets are interested, Mason Appleton could be intriguing.

Especially since the Habs picked him up off waivers. Getting anything would be a bonus.

What a doofus. Sucked when he was expected to be good, now he's good when everyone wants him to suck.

He's become my favorite player on the team to watch (guilty pleasure). He's uncoordinated and he loses sight of the puck all the time but he's a battler. If he were a #1 goalie for a full year I'd probably die from every shot looking like a sure goal. But for now I love it!

Habs are now down to just one center. Good luck Danault!
