Desharnais on a line with White and Parros at practice. Not sure how he'll get assists here... lol

In case people want to know for future generations, this was the 3,000th post in the thread. I thought there'd be a lot more hoopla. ;-)

Just realized the Habs don't play this Saturday. Always hate it when they're not on on a Saturday night.

Galch will play centre for a full game on Tuesday.

Eller, Pleks, DD. Who else was playing centre? White? Is he the odd-man out at that position?

White had been playing C but has always done better as a winger.

Looks like a decent lineup. When Prust and Brière come back, I don't see how Desharnais gets back into the lineup. Sad to see him benched but that's the faith he deserves right now.

is Bournival here to stay? or will he get shipped to the AHL when the injured forwards make their way back?

He's here to stay, he's been told by the team he'll remain in Montreal for the whole season.

can i expect him to stay in the top-6? it seems like he is having good chemistry with plekanec. Obviously im not expecting 60-65 points from him, but would 45-50 be a realistic projection?

i would be dropping one of Zucker, Shore or Conacher to fit him in.

    thanks for the help.

We had a similar discussion on this thread a few days ago. Here is what I said.

Don't expect his actual production (7 pts in his last 7 games) to last the entire season, but he will stick with the club for the entire season, and with the way he is playing now, he may stick in the top 9. In fact, he should be a fixture in the top 9, but the numbers game could see him bumped to the 4th line when all the injured players will come back.

I could see him finish the season around 40 pts, 150+ shots and a strong +/-

Bournival is more of a 2nd/3rd line tweener than a full-time 2nd liner at this point. He is with Plek and Gionta for now but with line juggling could end up in the bottom-six quickly.

Exactly that. Bournival's on a good streak right now but I don't see him racking much more than 30-40 points because he'll probably be moved around the lineup on a regular basis.
