Yep. He’s not being paid as one.

Also, no one on the home opener thing? I seriously can’t remember the last time they opened the season at home. Shouldn’t they demand that??

I can’t believe that. I know it has lots to do with scheduling conflicts for things like concerts etc. But given the chance, the home advantage and starting it all off on the right foot, I can’t imagine teams would opt to start on the road... especially not 20 years in a row..

The 2013-14 season started with a home game against the Leafs.

I've wondered about always starting on the road in past years but I'm indifferent now. They have their reasons I'm sure. I definitely don't agree though with starting at home leading to a better start. Starting at home is a double-edge sword.

For those wondering Juulsen has been out with headaches (concussion) which started last year when the puck fractured his face. He skated Friday.

Nice win!! Assist for Mete and the only player on the roster who was negative is Weber. Hmmm...

It was nice seeing Domi not do something stupid when he's pissed off

Agreed! Score a goal Max. That’s the best way to give those a-holes the middle finger.

Media conveniently ignores Drouin has 6 points in 5 games, tied for team lead. He gets shit on for everything that goes wrong. Some of it is deserved but it's also pretty severely unbalanced. I know there's been some coverage of his good start but it's definitely not being shoved down our throats like his poor finish was last year.
