I think Suzuki continues to shine and gets even better deployment in the absence of an offensive forward.

I don't know what the usual orientations are, but is he taking someone's spot that missed practice, or is he similar enough to Drouin on a powerplay that they're slotting him in Drouin's spot to not disrupt any mojo?

I chalk it up as one of the many things a coach has to do to manage the team during the year. Last year they were dead last on the PP. They came into this year ready to think outside the box to fix things. So far they're 12th. I give the benefit of the doubt.

Sometimes a coach has to scratch a prized prospect, or has to demote Tatar temporarily to make a point about stupid minor penalties. I guess sometimes a coach can put Hudon on the top PP.

The team in a nutshell. They are a very good "possession" team, not a good defensive team. One of the five goals Price allowed, one was soft. Two were quick uncontested shots from the slot. One was a breakaway. One was a one-timer through the slot. When forced to actually defend this team is in trouble. Their only defense is quick transition.

They'll still find ways to give up odd-man rushes and breakaways. Also gives Price more options for a replacement stick if he decides to break his own during the play.
