Welcome to the Madhouse on Madison boys.
I'm glad we rid ourselves of some cap issues, but at the same time, im a bit worried about our depth. Losing Campbell does hurt us , but helps us with no longer having that horrible contract on our hands, but Olesz does not exactly have the best contract either.
The loss of Brouwer is gonna hurt.
I'm excited that we did add McNeill, Danault and Saad though. 3 very good picks.

Chicago has had a phenomenal draft. McNeill, Saad, and Clendening? Beauty.
What's your take on Brower's departure on the top six in Chi Town? I know Brower bounced around a lot between lines but it seems Bickell is now looking at more time and maybe Morin?

Bowman talks about draft and trades.
It was Tallion that convinced Campbell to waive NTC
Hawks gonna work on upgrading 3rd/4th lines via free agency /trades.
It's a long shot but do not count out Chicago as a team that's in the hunt for Brad Richards. We have the funds now ( at least can compete financially for him) we also have the need. Chicago will be a player in on him.
I'm officially in " head scratcher mode"
I truly felt Hawks would make a strong run at Pitkanen or Bieska and Ehrhoff. We can still nab Ehrhoff but im not so confident now.
Not sure what Bowman is doing next. No idea what direction he's going. I was also surprised at the Kopecky deal.
Blackhawks acquire the rights of Steve Montador from Sabres.

I thought the canucks might be in on him.
Hawks need some depth on defense though.
Wonder if he would be paired with Leddy?
