3 rookies in the top 10 are rangers !
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.

With the recent run of injuries, the team has called up a few AHL players in Hrivik and Jensen who have looked effective on the 4th line with Lindberg. They are cycling nicely and generating shots on net.

Sadly as a result Jooris has not seen much ice time, was sent down and then claimed by the Coyotes. I liked his play style and feel that was a risky move to take. Wish him well in Arizona.

Brady Skjei finally scored his first goal on a deflection. He has slowly but steadily improving this season, his skating is his ticket to the NHL but his size and physical play have been a nice surprise so far. He has really stepped up nicely making the loss of Yandle less palpable.

Raanta's emergence has almost certainly lit a fire under henke's ass, but the rest is probably good for him too. A fresh healthy Lundqvist is crucial for a long playoff run.

Did this site still need a Rangers prospect writer or something like that? I remember seeing a post not long ago. Couldn't find it though.

Henrik Lundqvist with 389 career NHL wins, ties Hasek for most ever by a European netminder !

I have no idea about that, but there is a prospect side to the site

    just gonna post this here

Henrik has not been the same since he was freight trained in Dallas

With Staal out due to concussion Clendening has been an adequate replacement

The Polak hit on Zuc could have been very nasty and nothing was called on the play. Zuc is lucky it wasn't serious.

Jeff Gorton has 4+ million in cap space available to acquire a rental

Zib looks like the real deal. Definitely his coming out party this year. Kid can really play.

Coming out party? He's pretty much on the same pace as last year with a few more assists, playing on one of the best offensive teams in the league. He hasn't looked great since returning from injury and is falling back to reality after a hot start. For root leagues he's also worse since his hits have drastically fallen from 100+ to a pace of less than 35

It’s hard to hit when you always have the puck.

I think the coming out party has more to do with playing in NY than his play, but it’s cool to see he’s being trusted in his own zone a lot more than in Ottawa.

Ya it's obvious he has been given more offensive responsibility in NYR which is leading to a mini break out this year (and also the decreased hit totals). He'd also be in the top 15 in FOW had he not gotten injured as well...

He's on a 60 point pace in his first season with his new team. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes another step forward with a healthy year next year.

    Time will tell!

he was the Sens #2 centre for the past two years, and is now the Rangers #2 C. I have no ill will against him at all, good guy and good player, but just doesn't have the upside to do much better than he is right now. he has had opportunities that he has not taken advantage of and isn't skilled or smart enough

Henrik Lundquist reaches 400 career wins, fastest in NHL history!

regarding Ziban, he has been getting some great looks since he returned from injury but for whatever reason has been firing wide and just outright missing the net. Gripping the stick a little ? tough to say

I had to drop Mika. He is just struggling big time. He is averaging a shot per game over the last 11 games.

I have been thinking about dropping him as of late as well... I had big expectations for him this year.
