Toews On The Block

Toews just went on the trading block and I would LOVE to trade for him. Early post I had, said I could get something nice for Visnovsky. I am willing to part with him, I just need to find someone else. I am almost sure he would want a center in return.He has some good young talent in, Myers, Vorachek, Filatov, Stewart. So I was thinking maybe Visnovsky, Riberio for Toews, and one of the above. Who would you want and would be attainable in this trade.

I don't think you can have him for Visnovsky & Ribeiro. It would be a good attempt. Sit down and figure out the career points that remain for each player in this deal.

Personally, I don't like Visnovsky as well as I have shown him on this list. He's been on pace for about 45 points for a few seasons now. At age 34, he is in the right town. Very few remain as golden as Selanne after their 35th birthday. Visnovsky has had some health issues.

So, as far as him throwing in a puppy to round out the deal. Not a chance. In extended stats Toews is even more golden. Toews is very involved, thus he may start to have health issues, particularly towards the end of his career.
