    Default Nathan Horton for Yandle+Brassard?

I was offered Horton for Yandle & Brassard.

Yandle is solid but Brassard is still a question mark, imo. Horton is only 25, plays on the top Bruins line & is off to a great start. Feels like a good deal to me- am I off my rocker?

Would appreciate your comments. Thank you. Team below.

Who would do you replace Brassard with at center?

I am a big Horton Fan, and with his slow last few games and Brassard goign strong, I feel this is a good deal. but as I always say, go for more, and it would help to know where your next center comes from.

Well, Derek Stepan is available on the wire. Would he be a suitable replacement for Brassard?

I see in your signature that this is a Yahoo league. Ryan has C/LW eligibility on Yahoo, which would allow you to slot him at center, but that weakens your leftwing.

Could I get some more input on this trade offer? Thanks.

ps: update- Pominville & Grabner just became available on the wire, could I just pass on this deal & get one of them? They seem to be on par @ RW as Horton- or no?

I like Horton quite a bit more than either of those newbies to your WW, but I still take Pominville and pass on the deal. Center is already your weakest position, and I think long-term that Brassard = Horton. Adding Yandle from your side makes it a definite no to me.

i'd probably keep brassard and yandle. i think in the long run brassard will outpoint or atleast put up similar numbers to horton. yandle is going to be a top dman for years to come. if you are trying to win this year i may consider trading for horton, otherwise i'd hold off.

Fully agree. If you make the trade and leave Ryan on your LW, you take a huge hit at center. If you moved Ryan to center, then your banking your teams LW on Vanek/Hall/Kovalev/Brunette which is just as bad.
