    SOAB.....

If this is the case, shut him down for the season. No point in having him rush back for the last few games if he can't even start skating until March.

Can't he move his doctor appointment up a few months?

    EDIT (Update from Rotoworld):
Zach Parise (knee surgery) isn't expected to resume skating until March.
Parise was originally projected to return to the Devils' lineup in early February, but now it looks like he might miss the remainder of the season. Parise's knee is healing, but Dr. Anthony Miniaci wants Parise to stay off the ice for the time being. "I was really disappointed to find out that I won’t be able to start skating until after I see him again in March," Parise said. "I didn’t expect it to be this long, especially after he said how happy he was with it all so far. It’s a long time to go without playing." Given that the Devils are dead last in the league and 20 points out of a playoff spot, it is unlikely that they'll be playing in meaningful games by the time Parise starts skating again. With that in mind, the Devils might err on the side of caution to the point where Parise never returns this season. We'll keep you posted. Dec. 24 - 10:30 am et

Wow. That was not the Christmas present I was looking for. Its really too bad they did not have him get this fixed.. when I happened. Sucks for the Devils, as they could have gotten something in return for him at the deadline, before he probably walks.

Poor bastard, ...I'll bet he re-injured his knee jumping out of a building when he heard Jaques Lemaire was back.

Anybody able to find any recent info on Parise? Been looking myself and the only thing I've been able to find is from about a month ago saying he'd likely start skating early March.

Any further updates anyone has on Parise would be great!

The last update I recall was the Yahoo pop-up which said that he was beginnig to work out. I think this was about 3-4 weeks ago. It was Yahoo and there was no detail on what kind of workout (as I recall) so take it for what it is worth.

I have been holding him since he went on IR so my optomistic view is he is working out to come back for the last few weeks.

Caught a stick in the face (from Staal I think?) while down on the ice, was taken off the ice bleeding like a stuck pig...probably just stitches but WTF do I know...I am the Bondon of injury prediction this year.

I flipped on the Minnesota game and heard the announcers say that Parise wasn't on the bench and he only played 12:50 tonight. Anyone see what happened or hear what's up?

And there goes Minny's good start. They already haven't looked that good lately now if you take Parise out, they will start the inevitable decline.

Zach Parise will not join the #mnwild on their upcoming road trip due to his upper body injury.
