Speaking of Kovy, is he getting a boost out of this ? he's "the man" now.....but I suppose he'll be watched much more closely now too.

It's bad enough Parise is hurt, but he needs to be placed on IR already. I hate when teams wait to do this. They are not in a hurry because they will make it retroactive to the date he was injured. Someone call Lou and tell him to place Parise on IR ASAP

    Most recent update I have found...from rotoworld.com:

Zach Parise gets permission to remove brace

Zach Parise (knee surgery) has been given the green light from his doctor to remove the leg brace he has been wearing for nearly six weeks.

"[The] doctor said everything looks really good," he said. "I can finally stop wearing the leg brace that was getting real annoying in a hurry. We can start getting the range of motion back now, which will feel a lot better. Unfortunately, it's still a slow process and I won't be skating for a while." Parise is still on track for a possible return in early February at this time. We'll pass along any updates on his recovery as we get them. Dec. 14 - 7:34 am et

If Parise plays this season, it probably won't be until final few games. Lamoriello is hopeful Parise will play, but there's chance he won't

March? Wait till the parise owners wake up tomorrow morning, they'll be in a bad mood.

Here's the lastest news on Parise from Fire and Ice's blog. It doesn't look promising!

Potentially still a little value for those going deep in the H2H playoffs (hope I'm one of them), otherwise no value in any other one-year leagues unfortunately. That's a shame, however in real life, hope he's 100% next season.
