For anyone who is interested in Stepan's progress in camp, Torts was interviewed today made some minor comments on him:

Now you're just stooping to your regular low level of posting, which is just plain boring. Buh-bye, TM.
GO WINGS!
like I said in another thread, tequilamonster strikes again
in further news connor brickley got a 2nd assist on an empty net goal today
just a heads up
sept 20 day 2 of 'crap' camp.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzz
I wonder if the guy in my league who owns Stepan saw this thread - he drafted him in the 2nd round of this year's draft...I offered him a 1st rounder next year for him and he said no. Thought that would be good value...til I saw this.
So Stepan is a lock to play with Frolov and Gaborik?
Odds continue to increase for the young player, with both prospal(knee) and drury(finger), he looks to be a lock for the team for opening night.
He also had the most ice time of any forward on the team in the game against OTT tonight. Playing both special teams and putting up a shortie. His chances look real good.
Thanks to sentium for some major foresight!

He also took a penaltyshot in the shootout and nailed it. The kid continues to impress.
I thought it was Derek Step-in, but the MSG guys kept saying Step-on? Are they right?
Step-ahn is what I heard all the time at the WJC.
GO WINGS!
