I never knew the flu was so rough and rampant.Bieksa[cracked bonein foot]and Salo[bruised tailbone\\back]BOTH WERE SIDELINED WITH THE FLU!?!?Now Elias is out with a headcold?GIVE ME A BREAK.Not even a flaky Euro would miss a playoff game for that-wonder what really ails him?Maybe \"general body soreness\"?N.H.L. Injury reports are insulting at best.Just had to get that out of my system--I think I\'m getting sick.

Nothing will ever top Guy LaFleur\'s not playing during playoffs cuz he had a (Quote \"they don\'t pay me to play in pain\&quot bruised thumb. Only Guy could get away with that crap!

I saw Salo land on his ass so I know it was a tailbone-back issue.Bieksa had foot troubles near the end of the season so I assumed that was keeping him out but now the Van. papers {and Dobber} are saying it is rib/shoulder related.I can\'t find anything on Cooke--Maybe his flu turned into CHICKENPOX???That is the point of my post--Where the hell do you get REAL INFO??? Papers today say Salo and fitzpatrick{also flu..lol}are doubtful for game 3,while Bieksa says he can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel--what that means as far as his timetable for a return is anyones guess.
