Yeah, at the beginning of last year for sure, but Staal got hurt early and had a terrible start to the season while Henrik was leading the league in scoring. Pretty Frustrating. Luckily he wasn't my number one centre, so I wasnt exactly relying on him too much.Originally Posted by Shoeless

last year I traded for Brodeur and he has single-handedly wrecked my team last year and this (i am still in it, but he is the #1 albatross)

that trade was actually Edler, Booth, Voracek and Neuvirth for Brodeur and Lidstrom. I since traded Lids, and am missing out on his hot year .....but i did get Enstrom, so no worries

I had 3 picks. First round I talked myself out of taking Letang as I didnt think he'd get PP time with Goligoski and Martin in front of him. Took Zherdev. Second round pick 1, again talked myself out of Letang and took Subban. Next pick for me that round, AGAIN I rethought my list and took Paul f*cking Martin over Kris Letang. Martin has since been cut from my team, while Letang is 2nd in DMan points. FML

in my first keeper pool, which I'm still in during I turned down Backtrom(wash) for my stastny, might have been during Backs 2nd season, maybe rookie year tho.
Also at the inaugural draft for this keeper league, 6 guys, friends and cousins so just for fun league. I went in with zero idea what I was doing, I picked 6th and 7th I took Heatley and Briere.
The first overall pick in this draft for the 06/07 season....(we still bug this guy about this one) was Matrin Havlat. We were late getting the draft done and it was about 5 or so games into the season, Havlat was leading the league in scoring and this guy said he had done reasarch and everything and thought that was the best pick. So Havlat over Crosby or Ovechkin, and I grabbed Malkin in the 4th round.
