1)What do you think about Horton going forward? Was he just starting to show his potential before his injury?

2)Is Jagr going to come back next season in your opinion? Will he be in the NHL next year?

    Hey Dobber thanks,

Trying to decide on my last keeper spot (for team in my sig). Right now it's between

    Hemsky
    Vanek
    Franzen

I don't have a RW keeper yet so I'm trying to factor that in to the decision as well.

    Thanks

Haha Thanks Zorro, I just wonder if I will have an easier time re-drafting Hemsky in the first round? Maybe he slips lower than Vanek due to his injury this year?

    1. I think he's a lock for 75 points next season. Perhaps 80 if healthy.

    2. Yes. I'm thinking 67 points or thereabouts.

The battle of three Band-Aid boys. To me it's between Hemsky and Vanek. I know most of the guys in my leagues would prefer Vanek, as he has shown more. But my vote goes to Hemsky due to his vast potential.

    Default Goalie questions

    Goaltending question again:

Will Philly go for another goalie if Emery is out? If so, does Leighton have any value left this season.

Dallas - If Turco does not get traded, Lehtonen have any vaule in the last 20 or so games.

Elliott - Will ottawa still use him to get into the playoff or is leclairs contract too much to sit.

Rinne - new contract, will he bounce back the last 20 games??

Boston - well, no point of asking the question but is Rask going for the rest of the year or will there be a split.

    Go Canada!

Hey Dobber, thanks in advance for the input!

14 keepers for next year, team in sig, I'm thinking my keepers are as follows:

    C: Thornton, Getz, M.Richards
    W: Gaborik, Hossa, Horton, Eriksson
    D: Cambpell, Kaberle, Letang, Karlsson
    G: Lundqvist, Hiller
    + 1 of Pominville, AK46, Weiss, Visnovsky

As in other keeper leagues, Cs are more bountiful so Weiss is probably out even though he's the most likely of that bunch to generate 70-80 points next year. With good offensive Dmen at a premium, i'm tempted to keep Visnovsky as my 5th D (which would also protect me if Letang and Karlsson don't break out) and then spend my early round draft picks on wingers primarily, but tough to drop Pommer and AK46.

One factor is that I already have an extra 2nd rounder and an extra 2nd or 3rd rounder next year, plus whoever I drop I will probably try to trade for value (more early round draft picks).

Finally, I'm assuming that you would definitely keep Horton and Eriksson over Pommer and AK46, and that you would keep Karlsson over Visnovsky, but let me know if your choices would be different.

    Thanks!

I am in a keeper league with an issue with my keepers. This year at seasons end we have to drop 3 players.

    Roster is -
F -Kovalchuk, D. Sedin, H. Sedin, P. Kane,Stamkos, Perry, Lecavalier, Havlat, Krejci, Little, Dumont, Kovalev
D - Weber, Goligoski, Suter, Niedermayer, Carle
    G - Loungo

    1. Who would you cut loose for next year - pick 3?

    2. Also, How do you see Bryan Little progressing over these next 3 years?

Hey Dobber ... thanks for doing this.

League settings and team in my signature.

I am not in contention this year, so looking to future only.

    (1) When Grabovski and Hejduk come off IR, who would you drop?

    (2) Going forward would you keep Horcoff and hope he bounces back, or grab Cal O'Reilly?

    (3) Going forward Matt Niskanen or Braydon Coburn?

    Go Canada!

Philly - I don't think so. I think they ride Leighton unless they can shed salary
Elliott - I believe they will play the hot hand, so yes - as long as he stays hot.
Rinne - I believe so. I think the move will really help fantasy owners.
    Boston - split!

No good helpful thoughts for you really, except Rinne I'm afraid.

    1) What do you see as Pitkanen's LTU?
    2) Do you see Burns turning it around next season? If so what can we expect?
    3) How would you compare the value of Pitkanen, Letang, Burns, and Liles going forward in a Keeper League (stats in sig)
