Yes - it's the passing of the torch. Iggy is now an 85-point guy instead of a 90-point guy. Nash is still an 80-point guy, but their production graphs will cross each other very soon - likely next year.

WHO would Dobber chose??? I am still trying to IMPROVE my Keepers, as I have a couple offers out there for OV and Kovalchuk...But I think I am going to attempt to compete for the top (even though I am behind 20 roto points).

Due to my large selection of (2nd round quality) FORWARD KEEPERS, who would you KEEP as my BEST 3 choices for next year???

    E.Malkin(C)
    D.Sedin(LW)
    H.Sedin(C)
    P.Datsyuk(C)
    M.Hossa(RW)
    E.Staal(C)

Team and league info are in the signature below...I think there could be a few different options...

    Thanks

I don't they'll do much this year. But if it's a keeper you're talking about then definitely get them. Gonchar will be gone and Malkin will be back to his 120-point self next year.
Ericsson should be a 45-50 point player, he just needs a couple of years like Kronwall did.

    Emery, Ward, Varlamov, Hiller..?

    Thanks!
So the choice is Crap #1, #2, #3 or #4? haha
Put me down for Varlamov. I think Emery may have lost his job, I think Carolina will continue losing, and same with Anaheim. Whereas if Varlamov ever gets healthy, he'll shoulder much of the WAS load going forward.

    Dobbs,

    Two questions:

    1) Is Steve Mason going to be the real deal; or was last season just the epitome of a decent goalie being in the right system at the right time. Afterall, Leclaire put up eerily similar numbers in 2007/08(24-17-6, 2.25GAA, .919sv% ans 9SO)

    2) Tyler Myers: never put up big numbers in the WHL; so where did this sudden explosion of offense come from?

    thanks!!

looking to nab Malkin (who isn't). Who from my squad should it take to get him. my initial offer (which he didn't take ) was Hemsky, Kaberle, Dubinsky and a 3rd rounder for Malkin, coburn.

Malkin's team is definitly not competing this year, which is why Hemsky was offered.

My team, and cats are in my Sig, and assume that my quality wingers amd D are significant upgrades over the other teams ( which is not very deep )

Thanks Dobber for takin the time

    Default Thoughts on Rinne

What are you thoughts on Rinne for the rest of the year? Will he turn into the goalie of the second half of last year, or should I look to upgrade soon.

With the team Huet has in front of him, do you think he is primed for a Really big second half?

Also, does lucic have any fantasy value left in him this year. With his injuries, the PIM/points are not coming back as quickly as people hoped.

Leighton - Could the Flyers continue to start him and make him the #1?

Same with Boyes. Now on the third line, will he get back to top line minutes/ PP time this year?

Hey Dobber, with the impending return of Jason Spezza from IR. i'm going to have to cut lose one of Giroux, Voracek, Frolik or Afinogenov from my squad.
This is a pool in which your entire roster carries over from one season to the next.
I'm currently in first place, and thus am not inclined to look strictly at long term potential in making this decision. I also want to win now.
Who would you choose to drop & why?

Between Frolik and Fleischmann who would be the better Player for the rest of this Season? How many points will each score?

Also, who would be the better Keeper between Frolik and Fleischmann?

    G-A-PTS-PIM +/- PPG-PPA-PPP-SHP-SOG-GWG

    Thanks for the help.

I would say Stewart at 26 points, followed by Arnott at 25. Those two are close. If I could be sure of Arnott's health, I would definitely say him. So if you are playing catch-up, he may be the risk you need to take. But if you are in the lead and need to play safe, go Stewart.

Man, what a tough question. Any one of these guys could be huge for you. If you need PIMs more, then definitely Avery of course. Raymond is the best for points and plus/minus. Stewart offers PIMs so even if Morrow turns it around and Stewart slows down, he may not hurt you so much. I think I would go Stewart.
