Shoot Out Losses

Hey,

When a goalie loses a shoot out does he still get any points for the tie going into the shoot out? Steve Mason and Varlamov both got me shoot out loses tonight. Just wanted to know how it works. Thanks

it very much depends on how your league is setup...in my league for instance, we award 2 pts for a win, 1 pt for an OTL which includes both losses in OT and in the SO but again without knowing your league setup its hard to say

That all depends on your league setup. In real life NHL, teams get one point for a shootout loss. In my league goalies don't get anything even if they lose in overtime or in the shootout.
