We're going to make them proud of us!!! Yeah, I was lucky too to avoid the injury and lucky for picking Anderson really late in the draft (as a 3rd G). That helped trade Vokoun and run with him and Luongo.

Chic traded me Vokoun and ultimately helped me stay in the PRO LEAGUE, HAHA..

Best picks for me were:

Backstrom (Was) 4th Rd.
Bryz 7th
Stamkos 15th
Doughty 19th
Downie 22nd
Rask 24th

Best FA: Theodore was dropped right before his winning streak and I picked him up.

I'm happy to see that Vokoun helped you Z. I can't say clearly that Dats and Penner have helped me a lot, but I'm sure they have. But Kovalchuk (who I got when he went down) helped me a lot.

Yeah, good drafting and good FA pickups definitely help!

I have dates for the pro drafts -
Sept. 21 and 22

I'll set up a thread going over pro league invites etc probably Monday. But you know who you are - you either won the entry division or you failed to lose the pro tier. (or if you won the pro tier you go up against ME)

Doesn't seem fair that the guys who move up should have such easy competition, but it's nice that you are reassuring them that it won't be very difficult, Dobber. You're a good man.
