STL goalie tonight?
any word on who gets nod tonight? i would think mason goes back in but with conklin posting a shut out and STL facing off against PIT could conklin get start against former team? can't seem to find anything conclusive....still early in day though but figured I would ask around.

nothing confirmed. last game mason was on the bench they interviewed him (the announcers). he didnt seemed worried at all that he would be losing the starting job. his play has been pretty good so just because conklin comes in for one great game doesnt mean they turn to conklin. Mason is the teams starter so im sure they go back to him.

Nothing conclusive yet but my $ is on Mason starting even though Conklin had a shutout last game. Mason is their clear #1.

thanks for the input. i just realized mason is myonly goalie going tonight so no question that i am playing him. not sure what i was looking at as far as NHL schedule. guess its a result of yet another late night watching the Phillies win! I appreciate the feedback regardless. Good to get othr perspectives on goalie situations. With Rinne and Hiller as my other two goalies I just can't afford another rotation in STL.

Chris Mason will likely start for the Blues on Tuesday night.
Backup goalie Ty Conklin performed well in his last game, making 26 saves for a 5-0 shutout win over the Ducks on Saturday. However, they will probably go back to their number one against the Penguins.
