Going with Gustavsson?
How many owners are rolling the dice and starting Gustavsson in the Battle for Ontario tonight? I was hesitant until I looked at their match-ups last season...now I'm a less hesitant, but I still have some butterflies.

Toskala should be worried. Biggest difference I noticed is a calmness and confidence that Gustavsson has that I haven't seen in Toskala in over a year.Originally Posted by shook81

I own both Toskala & Gustavsson, I benched them against washington and played Gustavsson tonight. The first goal was a high stick and the 2nd goal was on a penalty shot that shouldnt have been called.

I watched the game and totally agree...the zebras made some really poor decisions on each of those decisive plays.

Gustavsson was very good in that game although he didn't see a ton of action.
He was very, very poised and confident and composed. That's the sign of a prospect heading in the right direction.
Although I have to admit I got caught up in the hype surrounding him just a little bit, the fact still remains he's going to be very good if he keeps showing that type of confidence and composure. It will probably just take him a little longer to develop than I originally thought. Part of that comes from the style that Allaire teaches, however.
