Sleeper D-man under $1 million?

Any suggestions for a sleeper defenseman making under a million a year. Need a 5th d-man in our cap keeper pool and the pickings (and my team budget) are getting pretty slim.

Tough to make recommendations without knowing some of your scoring categories and who else has been taken. But basically you need to be looking at players who signed a 3 year entry deals (young players and potentially rookies who are going to make the team). It is difficult to find veterans in your desired price range.

Here are few potential players that jump out:
Niskanen (not really a sleeper but in your price range)
Sekera
Quincy
Ericsson (DET)

Also there are lots of other players but they are probably already taken. Like
Doughty, Bogosian, Pietrangelo, and Letang to name a few.

Great list man, a couple guys there I had not considered at all... although one I disagree with: Andy Greene. As a Devils fan, I can assure you that Greene is a complete bust. He may not even make the team this year.

Any idea who Ericsson and Harrold will be partnered with to start the season, and what kind of TOI we can expect?
