Points Scoring System?

hey guys,

I am starting a one year points league and I am wondering if my scoring system looks alright. I tried to do a search on the forums to find any relevant topics, but nothing came up. Anyways here is my points system:
Skaters
goal=2pts
assists 1pt
PPP=1 pt
SHP= 2pts
+/-= 0.5pts
Goalies
W=2pts
Saves=0.1pts
GA=-0.5pts
SO=3

I would like to score it such that goalies are equivalent to skaters. What changes would you make to the system so that it is fair? What point league settings have you used in the past which worked for your league?

Any help/directions to relevant posts are much appreciated.

I've bee using a tweaked version of ''the sporting news'' scoring formula for years

remember the fantasy site called ''smallworld '' ? --the sporting news bought them out awhile ago and inherited the game style .

heres the formula

I think that setup will have skaters and goalies pretty close in value. My preference in points leagues though, is that if goalies get points for a win they should lose points for a loss. Like +2 for a win, -1 for a loss.

We've been using a tweaked Smallworld scoring system for years. So happy to see where no the only ones paying tribute to the once-awesome fantasy site that was smallworldhockey.
