tsn is reporting that the leafs jason blake has chronic myelogenous leukemia.
holy crap! not being a doctor, i don\'t know the specifics on this type of leukemia, but it can\'t be good.
poor guy. let\'s hope he and his family are able to get through this.

just read up on it a bit.
he\'s apparently been treating it with a pill and it\'s not expected to affect his life in any way. he\'s expected to live a long, full life and it\'s not expected to impact his game at all either.
i\'m still a little in shock though.

gotta love canada... they have a pill for cancer. I wish the FDA here in the u.s. would lighten up a bit.

do you guys have problems with countrymen trying to sneak prescription drugs back across the border too?
I always get a kick out of news reports where border patrol busted a 70 year old grandma for going to canada to get \"illegal\" prescription drugs.
