I'd grab a LW next to fill up that position 1st. I'd probably go with:

Smyth
Huselius
Blake
Whitney
Ponikarovsky
Arnott

I'm presuming that is Ray Whitney as a LW option here. He'd rate higher based on past production, but he's gotta be dropping off at some point soon. Arnott is only rated last because I don't feel you need a C yet. Besides, Duchene can be brought up from your farm for 1 C position.

I think I like Ryan Smyth here. He`s not too old and still can put up about 60 for points.

Smyth Huselius and Arnott are all in the 60 - 70 point range.

If you are thinking LW I would probably lean towards Smyth and his new role on the Kings. More shots, more PIM and may earn a role on the PP.

I like Whitney if it is Ryan (ANA) to add to your defense core. Ray Whitney is 37 and is bound to slow down or lose his playtime in CAR.

Wow, I thought Arnott right off the bat. I think he will get the most points out of the bunch and will get you some much needed PIM's..

Why stock up on more LW's when you already have 3? Grab a center because Krejci is your only center, and he is hurt for a couple of months.

I would also go for Arnott... If you were very short on LW, I would say go for a LW, but you already have 3. The best overall player on your list is Arnott. and that's who I would pick. Worst case scenario, you could always try to trade him for a better LW in contrast to Smyth and Huselius...

Although it looks like you took Smyth, I like Jason Arnott here as well. He could get back to 70 points next year. I guess cross your fingers that he drops to you next round.

I used the NHL stats page to get my information and it had Bobby Ryan listed as a RW, so I thought I has 3 RW and only 1 LW when I decided to select Ryan Smyth.

I also did not know about Krejci's injury...my bad. Now I have to hope Duchene makes an immediate impact.

Damn, just looking over your D. If you hold on to all those pieces, in a couple of years it should be downright scary.

Thanks. I hope they all pan out. It will likely mean I won't be competitive for awhile, but that is the price to pay I guess. I know I am a bit iffy on Pietrangelo. Everything I read says he is either a boom or bust type player. I'm crossing my fingers on him and McCabe who i hope will stay healthy for a change.

I think McCabe has an awesome year: 16g / 38a / 54 pts.

Just so you know, Ryan was listed as a RW in Yahoo last year... which is why I said you probably needed a LW 1st...
