If Neuf is Phaneuf then no. Parise had a 90 point season last year and is on the rise of his career, Hossa is much older than him and I dont see him being as good as Parise for the next 10 years. Phaneuf is better than Markov or Gonchar also. Phaneuf is much younger than both and is going to get many more pims than both as well. No way i do that deal.

Noooo for sure...Phauenf is only having a down yr last season...with JBO besides him, flames' PP unit gonna be way better...MTL's new coach gonna decline Markov's production a bit..and he is older....
Hossa maybe the same point production as Parise..but again..older...

Given that the 2st too guys are on the wrong side of 30 and your 2 guys are probably going to get better, or at least not drop off as fast, there is no reason you want to make this deal.

That's pretty my thinking as well, wanted to see if there was anyone thinking differently

Both pairs of players all things considered, fairly close, so there's no significant gap, but both my guys are younger.
