    Default Tanguay or Cheechoo?

Is it ridiculous for me think Cheechoo is worth a lot more than Tanguay? Am I fooling myself? I\'m talking to a guy in a trade which involves both. 1 point for G, 1 for A, .1 for shot (which is Tanguay\'s weakpoint), .25 for PIM and .5 for +/-.....decisions, decisions......

Do positions matter because generally LW > RW, but all things being equal you are right when it comes to shots. Shots probably put Cheechoo over the top.

I disagree. There is a reason why Thorton Cheechoo is the most feared line duo in the league. Iginla Tanguay isn\'t even a thought.......... I think Cheechoo is hands down winner in this deal.

No, you agree with what both of us have said. I think Cheechoo is too good to give up and that\'s what kyt said too.

The rest of the deal is this, by the way:

Kopitar for Gaborik. Me getting Gaborik.

You think this is a bad deal, repent? Please, I want to know what your thoughts are on the Gaborik-Kopitar part of this deal.

is this a 1 year league? I just don\'t feel gaborik has proven he can play enough games to be a real fantasy impact player - he gets injured far too often to take the risk, in my opinion.

kopitar is going to have a great season this year, and many more to come.

It\'s a keepers league, 10 team. I have a good contending team so I thought I might as well try to load up for a cup run with Gabby.

    team looks like this:

F: Spezza, Iginla, St-Louis, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Cheechoo, Alfredsson, Kopitar, Sykora, Prospal, Straka, Comrie
D: McCabe, Chara, Poti, Schneider, Blake, Clark
    G: Kipper, Budaj

I think I have a good chance at the cup......Gaborik for Kopitar, IMO, is a good move at least for the next couple years or so.

I\'ve taken your scoring system and plugged it into my personal projected stats for each player and here\'s what I\'ve come up with.

    Chechoo 129.2
    Tanguay 101.3

    Gaborik 126.25
    Kopitar 100.5

I think that sums it up pretty well for this year. Also, for the record thats with Gaborik suiting up for 73 games. If you feel he\'ll play less then scale accordingly.

    Hopefully this helps.

    Thanks bro. Karma for you.

I\'m sliding out of that deal. Gab is too much of a risk. And those calculations seem pretty close to me. Cheechoo 2 years ago got 145 points....the MVP last year (Heatley) got 185, so there\'s some perspective.

does your system take injuries into account, or does it assume a full season for gaborik?
