With the playoffs just around the corner, I think teams like Detroit, Boston and Chicago are going to have to make a decision very soon. Who is going to be their number one. Can you really go into the playoffs with a platoon system? Does that really work?

I\'m thinking that Khabi gets more of the starts from here on out. He has played more and better lately than Huet, and for them to make a dent in the playoffs, they will need outstanding goaltending.

    Thoughts?
Head to Head League: 1 point for G, 1 point for A. 2 for Goalie win, 3 for SO.
Start 6 guys every week. 3 O, 2 D and 1G. No substitutions once they are in (before the first game starts on Monday).
Protect 3 players every year in keeper.
    10 rounds of drafting

D: Letang, Doughty, Karlsson, Grzelcyk, Faulk,

I don\'t think that choice will be made until the last ten games to be honest. Or unless one of them stinks it up.

Fernandez and Rolosson platooned their way to the conference finals a few years back.

I don\'t think you can make that assumption at all - I think the coaching staff of the Hawks, Bruins and Wings will play it by ear - there is no formula for sure, these guys read this stuff live day to day.

Yeah, right now Khabi is out playing Huet but 2 bad games from Khabi and 1 good game by Huet would completely change that. It\'s very hard to predict.

If I were to purely guess I\'d say Khabi would get some more starts than Huet, but more like a 2:1 ratio instead of 1:1.
We get one of these - Don't waste it.

I just traded a 4th and a 9th in 2009 to get Khabi. I hope he does play more than Huet. It would certainly help my playoff push.
