H2H goalies questions

Ok guys, here\'s the topo:

H2H league with GS, W, GAA, SV, SV% and SHO as the categories.

The matchup is now:

Me: GS - 4, W - 3, GAA - 1.25, SV - 110, SV% - .957, SHO - 2
Opp.: GS - 3, W - 2, GAA - 2.35, SV - 86, SV% - .925, SHO - 0

Goalies for the rest of the week:

Me: FRI - Roloson vs MIN, SAT - Ward vs ATL and Nabokov vs CHI, SUN - Roloson vs NSH

Opp.: FRI - Smith vs PHI and Backstrom @ EDM, SAT - Backstrom @ VCR and Turco @ CLS

My questions:

- Would you play Roloson tonight? Right now, I\'m leaning toward benching him.

- What would you do with my other starts? I\'m a bit afraid of both games tomorrow as ATL and CHI offense have been good lately.

Despite leading in all categories, I would probably still have to play some goalies as otherwise, with the goalies he has, there\'s a chance of losing the GS, W and SV categories if I don\'t.

You can afford to be a little selective here, but it might come back to bite you as his goalies will more than likely start all of these games... perhaps Backstrom may not get into the B2B game, but thats it. Backstrom has also owned Edm according to the stats at goaliepost.com, so maybe sitting Rolie out for this game might be a prudent decision; however, I think Rolie will be up to prove himself and he is playing his old team, so this might be added incentive for him. Really, its hard to say and you have to go with your gut feelings. Sorry I couldn\'t be more helpful...

I\'d bench Rollie tonight but play him on Sunday. I\'d also play Nabokov on Saturday. He\'s white hot right now.

you win live and die with your studs...when they play...you gotta play them and just hope they don\'t have an off night. That being said..I would likely start rollie against MIN..they\'re not exactly an offensive powerhouse and I would take the risk that they continue to play defensive hockey. Nabby with his back to back shutouts...well I suppose a bad game IS due...but still you can\'t sit him...start all your goalies...lock up GS, likely W, SO and hope for the best on the rest...you\'re already way ahead...I\'d just take my chances and guarantee the overall win in goalie stats...with a decent chance of a sweep

dude are you serious? play them all, the chances of you losing GAA and SV% and this point is slim to none, you\'d have to get LIT... so that being said, you can only go up in all the other categories and ensure you win everything

Thanks for your thoughts guys! It\'s pretty much appreciated. I think NYR and Smack said what I wanted to hear, but I\'m still open for other thoughts. Anyone?

oh I am too late - I started Rollie because I knew that game had to be a lock. Edmonton has a pattern if you follow it. I would have bet good money on them winning that one because it was totally in their pattern to do so.
