Babcock has said all along that although he was splitting time, he wanted to give Osgood a bit more of the share down the stretch to get him ready for the playoffs.

Who Starts ANA vs. DET
I\'m not an owner of either but it always seems (I don\'t have #\'s to back it up)that Osgood always faces a lot more shots than the other goalie. Last year it was Hasek and this year it\'s Conklin. Again, I could be way off but it just always seems that they play much more defensively when Osgood is not in net.
We get one of these - Don't waste it.

I think I\'ll accept the praise Osgood receives despite his +3.00 GAA and -.900 SV% just as long as Conklin keeps logging those shutouts.
