World Junior Championship – Free Pool

(For those of you who have been following in the other thread I wanted to start a new post to bring in a few more people.)

If you are interested in joining a fun free pool among Dobber-forums users we are starting one up. It is similar to the one we threw together last year at the last minute.

Highlights:
-Pick 9 forwards, 4 defencemen and 2 goalies. No more than 4 players from any given nation.
-Points only for skaters. Goalie points – 2 points for wins/shutouts, 1 point for shootout loss.
-updates will be provided periodically throughout the tournament.
-the winner gets respects, bragging rights and maybe a bit of karma.

i have a question. do all teams play the same a amount of games that count towards the pool?

I can\'t remember exactly from last year but I believe that there is a slight varition in games played but nothing like one team playing twice as many games as another.

Having revised picks come in makes it more work and confusing so I would prefer if it could be avoided.

haha alright.. i think my title is a little vulnerable this year because a lot more people joined the pool compared to last, but it should be fun...

I suspect the Canadian players we chose are fairly common

Hah I\'m all talk. To be honest this tournament for me is a bit of a crap shoot since often times guys who you don\'t expect end up coming up big. But I LOVE watching it.
