Default Top D rest of season

How would you rank the following D rest of season (points 1, PP 1, +\- 0.5 league)? IÂ’m going to drop the bottom one:
    Walman
    Hutson
    Heiskanen
    Doughty (when he returns)
    Rielly

    Thanks, Rep given for advice

    Heiskanen
Reilly (one of the best defensive teams and still -9, not the best but i expect that to improve)
Hutson (could get most points but that +- does not hold up well)

Walman or Doughty would be my drops.

I'm not sure what is wrong with Heiskanen and the Stars in general, but I look to a return to the expected "normal" in the second half and Heiskanen is clearly at the top of the list for me. Jake Walman is for real, and he is my second choice. I suspect a decline in the scoring for sure but not drastically and even on the Sharks he is a nice +4. Hutson is in the third spot, but you had better hope that he scores a ton because his +/- will be horrendous, if your league scored giveaways, he be last on the list. The last two spots boil down to Reilly and Doughty. If I had to pick one, I'd go Doughty just for sentimental reasons. IMO Doughty was by far the best D Man in the league for years but that was a long time ago and now at the age of 35 and trying to come back from a serious injury I think he is in tough. The PP1 is now Clarke's and Spence lurks, bottom line, things have changed in the Kings lineup since the preseason, and I believe Doughty's role will also change upon his return. Reilly, well, there is just nothing there that I can get behind, he is on IR, has 0 points in 11 games and has never put up .5 pt/gm, usually far from it and at almost 32 years of age he is not likely to morph into anything more than he is.

Thx, rep given! Sorry just to clarify it’s Morgan Rielly not Mike Reilly. Leaning towards keeping Heiskanen, Hutson for the potential . If Walman, Doughty may be the one drop to waiver Rielly. Feel free to add any additional thoughts , thanks so much!

Walman would be my drop but he should have some trade value with his current numbers.

    I'd go with the following:
    Jake Walman (most balanced)
Miro Heiskanen (as frustrating as he is offensively at times)
    Lane Hutson (awful +/-)
Drew Doughty (good for at least a trial run)
Morgan Reilly (no potential left, isn't at ceiling this year)

C: Dylan Strome, Seth Jarvis (LW/RW), Bo Horvat
LW: Brandon Hagel (RW), Dmitri Voronkov, Frank Vatrano (C)
RW: Nikita Kucherov, Zach Hyman (LW), Ryan Donato (C/LW)
D: Rasmus Dahlin, Jake Walman, Jackson LaCombe, Seth Jones
G: Mackenzie Blackwood, Joey Daccord, Casey DeSmith
    IR+: Jacob Markstrom

This is it right here. Don’t let the past fool you into something different. Only a coaching change or trade to a team that doesn’t have 4 pucks hogs on top PP can bump Morgan from dead last. Hutson will be waaaaay top moving forward as Habs fill out as a team around him
    10 Team H2H Points (Keep 1C, 2W, 2D, 1G, & 1 non-goalie):
G,A,+/-, PIM, PPG, SHG, GWG, OTG, FOWs, Hits, Blks, Maj, Mis, (bonus scoring for D-men makes them comparable to Wing)
    Wins, Saves, GA, Shutouts

    18 Man Roster (3 IR slots) Daily Start: 2C, 4W, 4D, 2G

    C: Thomas, Trocheck, Eriksson Ek
W: Hughes, Stutzle, Marchenko, Wilson, Marchessault, Nichushkin (IR)
D: Makar, McAvoy, Walman, Faber, Jones, LaCombe
    G: Gustavsson, Thompson, Lindgren, Blackwood
