What a tourney. Congrats to whoever ended up winning the Dobber pool. See you guys again this time next year!

Good for Team USA -- their dominance has been a long time coming and it's here and likely to stay. The amount of money being poured into minor hockey down there is awesome -- the greatest game on Earth deserves it.

Finland is always sneaky good as they seemed to outkick their coverage once again when you look at the paper anyway. Will be fun watching their players develop into under-the-radar pros over the next couple years.

And great to see Czechia continue to perform at the levels they have been these past few years -- awesome story and something that other countries should be trying to mimic. They simply play the game the right way.

Swedes will feel robbed but they had uncharacteristically poor goaltending this tourney. Needless to say their top line players on the front and back ends should turn into real productive NHLers.

Writing was on the wall for Canada weeks before the tourney even began -- need to clean house and go back to basics. Back up the Brinks truck onto the Hunter's farm -- they should be given the keys to the entire operation for the next 5 years.

I updated the stats while eating lunch and here's how it played out. Congrats to Magicstew. Even though he picked McKenna twice, we did zero one of his scores, although he only had one point the entire tourney anyways. It was tight at the top.
