Thoughts on a Matthews for MacKinnon straight up trade?

I have a similar scoring format, and Mac has been the more valuable fantasy player the past 3 years. For that reason. I’d take MacKinnon

If we look at the past 3 yrs:

    https://frozenpool.dobbersports.com/...-2025%3AR%3A99

Mackinnon is the better option in this league format. The only place Matthews is the better option if we look at the combined stats for the past three years is goals (118 -103 for Matthews) and SHP (1-0 for Matthews). I am not sure about GWG but it's only worth 0.5 pts.

MacKinnon would be my choice here as well.

I assumed at first glance that in a goal heavy league Matthews would be the choice. Wrong. When you look in detail across all of the scoring Cats it is MacK that is the best choice. I don't see the historical data changing anytime soon, MacK for me.

Agreed with the above, give me Mack.
The really "bizarre" part about Matthews stats (important in this context) is that despite being a goal heavy stud, his PPP numbers are much lower than you would expect given his impressive goal totals.

Im as big leafs fan as there is but Mac has to be a choice here. I Matthes at his best maybe better own but Matthes does not appear to be at his best very often. Mac is way more consistent.

Looking at your sig, if that is the league you are considering this trade for, I'd vote Mack. The FPoints for goals isn't high enough to make the + in goals AM34 brings more valuable, especially considering all other categories.

If Fpoints for Goals is higher, I'd go with Matthews.
