America's first National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, the proclamation on Nov. 26, 1789, noted "it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor."
We do well to remember that today and every day.
Have a happy, blessed Thanksgiving.
"Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever." Psalm 118:1
