Varly for Laffy seems pretty easy?

NYR Lafreniere is available on waivers. Is he worth picking up and who would I drop ?
I will also need to make some decisions once Joshua and Thomas are ready to come off I/R.
I recently dropped Stone. Shopped him like crazy with no takers. I needed the roster spot to pick up some hits (Schenn).

The chances are good that when and if you need a goalie to replace Varly there will be some "streaming type" options on the wire. I'd make the pickup immediately. As for the other guys on IR, cross that bridge when you come to it but right now Kadri and certainly Stephenson seem good choices. Cozens will get going sooner or later. I'm also thinking Joshua may not be an improvement on any of your other guys?

Btw - dropping Stone is crazy to me for 1 category. Why would you do that?

So far this season albeit it’s early days I’ve had some mental struggles at my draft, making player decisions and in life in general. I’ve had a number of the same forum individuals respond. I very much appreciate the comments and advice. Some of the comments have made me chuckle and in turn start to help me feel better about things in general. Thank you.

You might want to run it with the site runner- RD- but Id say a 70 point pace with 100 point upside is probably worth an add. I mean he'll tell you he'd be lucky to repeat 57 cause powerplay (I think???)- but for guys willing to think outside the dobberbox- he was already bumped up lists way before the draft.
He will also tell you that Laffy has brought down Panarin… even though Panarin has had the best season of his career with Laffy as a linemate, and is on pace to beat that total this season. Typically not something a 33 year old does.
Assuming he can stay healthy, it sure looks like he will beat his 57 point season last year, and still remains off PP1. Once he gets on PP1, you can expect to add around 20 power play points to that total per season.
I ended up dropping Varlamov and picking up Lafreniere. I can stream a 4th goalie if needed.
Laffy has been productive in my lineup so far.
