If it happened to a 4th liner, we would have likely gotten an MRI on the road and news by today. Because it's McDavid, they flew him back to Edmonton, and his MRI likely happened a day later. So we'll probably know in the next day or so, but it's all dependent on swelling. If the swelling didn't go down because of the flight, the MRI would have to wait.
What we're hoping is it's ankle and a low ankle sprain. What I'm dreading is it's his knee. What would be unfortunate, but he'd be on the ice, is a high ankle sprain. Marner was out from March 7th to April 6th 2024 with it.
