No. I like to keep my money.
Any gamblers in here and do you tail any good cappers?
No. I like to keep my money.
I gamble on sports a bit but I have no idea what "tail any good cappers" means.
I would play poker to make some extra cash back when I was in University.
Now the most I do is bet a beer or something on an outcome.

I play a DraftKing game every once in a while but I haven't this season. I bet Nascar every race and I am terrible at it. I bet in the 50/50 pools and yet I lose way more than half the time. I find it comical since I follow the sport closely, research previous races and similar tracks, look at practice times, and I'm still a loser. I'm only betting very small stakes so I keep doing it.
I know there was a big article in the Athletic this week about sports gambling but I didn't read it. At this point I doubt I ever really get into sports gambling. I just wish online poker became legal again in my state. I used to play hours every day.

If "tailing” gamblers worked in real life we’d all be millionaires…
I'd say that with notions like tailing professional handicappers it really depends on the market you are betting into. There's more margin for winnings in a smaller sport like hockey or even smaller ones so it can be effective, but most of the time if you are tailing you are getting in on the bets when most of the edge has been bet out of them. Professionals are betting their edges first and then if they do media stuff they'll post that once their money is down and the lines have adjusted to their bets, as well as whatever news item likely sparked that edge. So I am very against tailing, especially if betting bigger markets.
I do bet and in general am just enamored with the nuts and bolts of the betting industry, but I do it casually. I have a lump sum in an account that I use to mess around with, and that sum was put in that account over a decade ago. I've learned that I am not good enough to be generating real profits, but by betting within my means I also still have a good sum to keep having casual fun with. One day I'll probably lose enough that my initial investment will be all gone and I suppose that will mean it's time to stop betting or maybe I'll finally stumble on something that works and just stick with that. Until then, it's all for fun, and if it's just for fun, why tail anyone?
It's no different than the stock market - the most widely played gambling forum in the world.
The "experts" have access to better and faster information, they're able to get in first on their connections, then pump the stock. They then pump the stock to the "tailers" (ie: retail investors) follow the expert advice, buying in after the price has run up. The "experts" sell, the retail investors get left holding the bag.
I played online poker, with much success, back when it was legal in the US. It was perfect, since it could fit into my schedule and I didn't have to deal with the annoying people with no hygiene and who came to the casino sick as a dog. Someday I hope it becomes legal again in the US. To fill the void, I do participate in sports card breaks, where instead of paying X for a box or case of cards, you pay a small fraction in hopes that you beat the odds and do well. It's a losing endeavor, but still fun to have the thrill of anticipation, plus it's well within my budget.

I have a guy I followed on Twitter for a while who was great at NBA props. So great that he eventually started his own paid discord. Which is (surprised myself and) joined. I don't even watch NBA, but I've given up all other bets and strictly follow this guy. It's possibly the reason my bet365 account was restricted.
Last year in NBA he was up 90+ units.
So far this year....he's 40-11.
I can. But I'd have to kill you.
Jk. @PropBomb.
But to reiterate, it's a very disciplined approach. I also should warn that he releases props at all times of the day and they often change values within minutes of his release. So you will miss them sometimes.
Finally....he's on la 37-8 run. So there is going to be a cold streak at some point.
