    Default Too much for CMC?

After an OK start...I'm all of sudden chalk with studs and depth.

    10 team league

QB: Love - dropped the bum Mahome
    RB: Cook
    RB: Barkley
    WR: Lamb
    WR: Thomas
    TE: Bowers (Hockenson on IR)
    Flex (2): McLaurin, Olave

BN: Pickens, Javonte, Hunt, Mooney, Brooks

The CMC and Gibbs owner both need a TE. I've been trying....

McLaurin, Javonte, Hockenson for CMC or Gibbs.

No luck yet. Feels like a lot for CMC since he might not even play. But it's essentially 1 roster player and 2 bench guys.

He's likely going to be on the roster no earlier than week 10, then their goal is to ramp him up for a few weeks before they can completely take the reigns off.

    So I'm guessing:
Week 10 - Huge snap count. 10 snaps
    Week 11 - 13 - Slowly going to a 50/50 split with Mason.
    Week 14, 15 - He's now the lead back but 60/40
Week 16-18 - Full RB, but could also dial back if they are in the playoffs.

Fantasy playoffs are typically 15-17. So I don't know if it's truly smart to acquire CMC with the hopes he's helping you in the playoffs unless you have Mason already.

    Great points.

I wouldn't touch CMC. If I were the 49ers and there was a window for him to contribute this year, I'd Mark Stone him and wait until Week 18 or Week 1 of the playoffs to have him play. Only caveat here is if the 49ers are on the edge of contention to make the playoffs, and they might try to rush him back. But if they're at the edge of the playoffs, I'm not sure that McCaffrey is going to solve that problem.
