Appears to have pp2 sown up in Florida- only real competition to the first unit is Boqvist?? Hes played over 4 minutes in pp time so far (albeit over one game :P)...

Its getting harder and harder to find a truly legitimate sleeper these days- especially in terms of scoring D....

    Whats the verdict here???
    Weekly hth league- 2c, 3w,1 ff (forward only flex), 4d, 1g, and one true flex. Sog/goal weighted for skaters: G4, A3, Sog1, PPP+1. +/- adds/minuses one for F/3 for D. Workhorse starters = GOLD!

We are a full dynasty keeper BUT we only protect 8 (9 if you miss playoffs)- which means that you can lose ONE player outside that range each year to the steal round.
C- Hughes(J), Crosby, McMichael, Buchnevich (C/W), Carlsson (Frm), Wright (Frm)
W- Marchand, Lafreniere, Zetterlund, Michkov, Stankoven, Slafzilla, Tolvanen
D- Werenski, Clarke, Carlsson, Orlov, Hughes (L)
G- Swayman, Sorokin, Kuemper, Fedotov, Nabokov (Frm)

Solid game last night but seems like he’s more of a grinder. Sort of like a Lomberg light on D with a bit of touch. Boqvist got injured in the 2nd so don’t know how long he’s out. But don’t think Balinskis gets first crack, since Ekblad was there.

If you read my column that published on the main site, I caution against looking just at PP TOI, since early on the refs calls tons of penalties, leading to more PP minutes for most everyone. They key metric is PP usage percentage, and although indeed he saw over 4 minutes of PP time, his PP usage was only 39%, so.....not great. Yes, with injury-prone guys like Boqvist and Ekblad ahead of him there is a chance he sees an expanded role, but otherwise he seems like guy who won't make much noise. Still, if I was in a really deep league, I would snag him, again if only due to the fragile players ahead of him giving him a higher chance than would otherwise exist if he was behind sturdier players. I'll also add that for 15:00 of ice time, to have no hits, blocks, or SOG, that is not encouraging.
