Parekh without hesitation.
Juggling between these 2 in a multicat dynasty.
Gotta love Parekh's offense ; situation in Calgary. Though he gives me Bobby Saguinetti vibes.
Love Yaremchuks size etc but competition is a little tighter in the Sens backcourt.

I want the higher ceiling in Parekh even if it comes with more risks
You have to go with the highest scoring ceiling, which is Parekh.
Would you put Buium ahead of Yakemchuk?

For me it's Yak. You had me at multicat. Plus, I think I put a bit more emphasis than most others on where they were taken in the real draft, but this is your second Dman off the board. He potted 30 as a Dman, and is a physical player. He's showing up pretty good in NHL preseason as well, not that that matters too too much.

I dont expect any of them to play a full season this year. Yakemchuk may stick for 9 games due to injuries but I dont expect him to stay the full season.
Trying to predict Dmen is almost as hard as predicting goalies. My preference:
Buium
Yakemchuk
Parekh

Parekh
Yakemchuk
Dickinson
Buium

Bump.
I have the opportunity to pick up Parekh or Yakemchuk, both of whom I'm enticed by, but I would be dropping Levshunov.
The catch is these are kind of long-shot picks where I really need to aim for whichever guy has the best chance to make the NHL next year. (I realize they're all long shots).
Any educated guesses on which guy has the best chance for next season?

With the caveat that they are both long shots for next year, it has to be Parekh. Ottawa has no need for Yakemchuk at the moment, Flames could certainly use a skilled puck mover and scorer. Parekh's skill is here, he needs to work on the non-offense parts of the game. Yakemchuk's skill is probably not NHL ready, as a bigger guy he probably needs years to grow into what he is to become.
