Need to shed salary

We use yearly salary, which makes front or back loaded contracts "interesting". See 2nd team in sig.

I own 4 centres in this point only salary cap league. And Rossi as a backup 5th.

I think I must cut one to comply + have room to draft some much needed help on D.


Barkov 12M this year, 11.6 next, then 10 and then less than that.

Eichel 10M for two years. Then needs a new contract.

Larkin 11m then 10m then 8m for a few years.


Money wise, it feeeeeels like Eichel is the cut. Point wise, I guess it's Larkin?

To me it’s eichel. If healthy he probably has one of the highest celing but if missing 10-20 games chance each season I’d prefer to drop him.

yeah i hate loosing any of those 3 so if there is any other options let us know but from the 3 i think its Eichel as well.

Only other option would be Terry, and then I'd have Nelson on my bench.

At 4M, I'm not cutting Nelson.

Terry would be my cut if 7mil is enough..if not i would try to cut another low salary player and keep 3 studs.

Dylan Larkin is the guy I would drop. He's never hit 80 points in a season and is just as much of an injury risk as Eichel. His salary is also more expensive this season.

But I like the idea that he's 7M for a few more years - it makes it easier to plan.

I tested the market and there's zero interest for Eichel or Terry.
