with those stats i agree with Skinner over Demko....but im not sold that Demko cant be Demko...He even said that he could play last year if they advanced, he was held off as they were afraid to do more damage not because he could not play...now the word is he wont hurt it and he needs to play through it..i think he will be just fined but we will see.
Skinner would have been my pick even if Demko was 100% fine since you dont count actual goalie cats and i think that Vancouver as a team is due for moderate regression.

I've said this before and I will say it again, folks are overreacting as they always do to information from a source that while considered reliable, ya it's Elliot Friedman, but the last I heard he was not a doctor, had not directly spoken to Demkos's Doctor nor had he directly spoken to the higher ups and those most likely in the know in Canucks management. He's a reporter, reporting on a rumor and at this point it is just that, a rumor, absolutely unconfirmed by any significant authority of record. That's my take on it anyway, maybe this is true, maybe it is totally not, or maybe it's somewhere in between, but what the severity and the overall impact on Demko's career might be is unkown. I'm holding until I actually have and understand the truth.
