If any of you are interested in a daily fantasy league for fun... check this out.

    https://dkn.gs/r/hb19vCj3AEOIdq126Loi7w

You can set up a new line-up each week so you are not 'stuck' with the players you drafted.

Don't have the #1 overall pick... well you can still get him in your line-ups every week if you want.

Screw Yahoo's Report!!! Here's my breakdown.

1 -8 Justin Jefferson (Min - WR) BPA
2 -13 Jonathan Taylor (Ind - RB) BPA - This was the kind of start I was expecting 1RB 1 WR
3 -28 Chris Olave (NO - WR) Went highest rank WR. Was thinking during draft maybe I should have gone Josh Jacobs
4 -33 James Cook (Buf - RB) Got my next ranked RB so round 3 pick was fine. Sitting pretty at 2 WR 2RB
5 -48 DJ Moore (Chi - WR) Choice between WR or QB (RB's been scoped up). Went best ranked WR for my flex. With QB's 1-4 gone mocks showed I should now wait on QB.
6 -53 Anthony Richardson (Ind - QB) The wait paid off. Finished my starters with the QB I would end up drafting the majority of the time in drafts.
7 -68 Christian Kirk (Jax - WR) Starters done. I went with BPA. I debated going Kyle Pitts but figured I could wait. I may have gone with Kincaid here if he wasn't scoped up two turns before.
8 -73 Kyle Pitts (Atl - TE) In mocks I was able to grab a Kittle/Pitts (who I had ranked similiar) round 11 but with Kittle going round 6 and Kincaid going round 7 I didn't think I could wait that long. 4 picks later the next TE goes so I think I guessed right.
9 -88 Brian Robinson Jr. (Was - RB) Finally RB's catch back up to WR's in my rankings. 3 picks before me wiped my que, but was still an easy choice here BPA and a guy I was often grabbing in mocks.
    10 -93 Devin Singletary (NYG - RB) BPA. Loving that it's RB's
11 -108 Jaylen Warren (Pit - RB) Was trying to select a WR here but the two I had in que got wiped. Oh well, took my next best ranked RB after Singletary.
12 -113 Hollywood Brown (KC - WR) Sticking to BPA worked out that it was a WR! So my predraft rankings within yahoo has ran out by this point making this pick a little tricky. I was searching for Marquise and nothing was coming up which was confusing. Turns out Yahoo had him in as Hollywood Brown lol.
13 -128 Brandon Aubrey (Dal - K) This is where I would normally select my DST but since both Ravens and 49ers were taken I decided to pass on the Jets and just take K2. Can always just stream DST if a bunch goes. I hate streaming kickers because I always choose wrong with them.
14 -133 New York (NYJ - DEF) Oh Jets are still here sure Ill take them!
    15 -148 Keon Coleman (Buf - WR)

    As per Yahoo ADP:
Biggest Reach: Christian Kirk drafted at 68, ADP of 85 17 difference
Biggest Steal: DJ Moore drafted at 48, ADP of 39 9 difference

Round 6 - I really wanted to pick Malik Nabers but instead grabbed a QB and finished my big starters, like in my best mocks and thus remaining in the comfort zone. Nabers lasted quite awhile before being picked up by Hot Garbage. Maybe even a steal of a pick!

Overall I'm pretty happy with this draft. I didn't do much research into boom/bust targets for late in the draft and I think my picks reflect that (even though I did select a rookie). I also got too comfortable selecting the Ravens in round 13 in mock drafts. I should have known a few DST will be off the board by round 13 in this league and planned accordingly. NYJ week 1 is vs SF so not a good matchup. I could have followed that pick up with another DST that has a higher week 1 projection, in round 15.

I missed my first two picks at the turn cause I dozed off on my couch. Still happy with two strong receivers in Wilson and Brown. Was hopeful to get two decent RBs at the next turn and did with Jacobs and Mixon so that was a good start. I was eyeing Kyler Murray for QB but he got scooped a couple picks before me so I went double pick with Burrows and Love at the turn. Either both are great and I can trade one or I have a great insurance policy if one of them gets hurt. I admit I didn't prep enough so I was relying on the board and Yahoo to make decisions. Feel pretty ok with my draft and hopeful for a better year than last year.

I did very little prep and used a tiered ranking I (and apparently everyone else) found on the interwebz to draft. I don’t know football. It’s good my first pick was a no-brainer. As stated in the draft chat, I lined some bye-weeks up pretty poorly. But avoiding that would have taken a lot more prep than I had time for. So if you’re my week 11 (I think) opponent, you’re welcome.

Prep consisted of reading a few articles a while back for my BestBall slow draft, and being regulary on fantasypros, the best website for fantasy football.
Mostly followed their Tier list + my own twist on the strategy I wanted to use.

Like Zero G in hockey, I like the Zero RB or Hero RB approach in fantasy. But this league had only 2 WR, so I hoped to be more in a Hero RB approach than Zero RB.

    1. (7) Amon-Ra St. Brown (Det - WR)
The usual Pick 1.7 I believe. The guy I knew I'd have.

    2. (14) Saquon Barkley (Phi - RB)
For a minute there I though Gibbs or Taylor would make it, but got picked just before. Taylor was my target as he has a different BYE, but at this point, I'd take Barkley before Bye week troubles.

    3. (27) Nico Collins (Hou - WR)
Had London, then Collins then Olave in the queue, and they stayed there long enough for two of them to make it to my pick.

    4. (34) Jaylen Waddle (Mia - WR)
Important for me to go 3x WR before RB2. Waddle is a favorite of fantasypros experts. Happy he was there at 34th.

    5. (47) Mark Andrews (Bal - TE)
Meh. Tough decisions here as a 2nd RB would have been more logical. In a 3WR + Flex league, it was another WR here, but had to look elsewhere. Next RB was James Connor and I thought I'd snag him in 6th round. Andrews or McBride to lock in a position I dislike, then Richardson or Stroud as QB felt like they could slide. Probably my toughest strategic decision of the draft.

    6. (54) C.J. Stroud (Hou - QB)
Richardson picked just ahead, and no RB taken in between I felt like I couldn't pass on a Stroud + Collins combo. Strong consideration for Malik Nabers who fell hard in our draft. But again, I was happy with my 3 WR, so I passed on him.

    7. (67) Najee Harris (Pit - RB)
Need to add RB depth now and hope one of them pays off. Not a fan of Harris.

    8. (74) Zamir White (LV - RB)
And not a fan of White. Let's hope!

    9. (87) Diontae Johnson (Car - WR)
Insane value pick at this point. Panthers will be bad, but he's Young's best option by a mile.

    10. (94) Brock Bowers (LV - TE)
I don't like having a backup TE, especially since I drafted Andrews already, but Bowers could be insane value at this pick.

    11. (107) Chase Brown (Cin - RB)
Not a fan of Yahoo's next RB options and Brown has had a solid camp. Some experts think he can Achane his way into relevance very quickly. Like this flyer. He's been on my queue for 3 rounds and didn't want to get burnt by waiting one more round.

    12. (114) Brian Thomas Jr. (Jax - WR)
Final pick before closing on backup QB, DEF and K. Usually the backup TE if needed. Shakir was on my queue, and then added Hollywood Brown who got picked just before. I'll be honest, I have no idea who this guy is. I just know he's a rookie with upside. First drop if needed.

    13. (127) Caleb Williams (Chi - QB)
I rather have a backup QB just in case, as it can dry up quickly on the WW. Also Williams *could* be a star on his rookie season.

    14. (134) Cincinnati (Cin - DEF)
They'll play my (sadly) lowly Patriots Week 1. Should be a rewarding matchup for them. Will stream for the upcoming weeks.

    15. (147) Evan McPherson (Cin - K)
Same. I'll stream kickers if needed, but McPherson has been relevant earlier in his career.

Yahoo doesn't like my draft (good news), and I like it. Still not sure about this Andrews pick, but the way things shaped up, it was OK. Maybe Waddle could have been RB 2, and then I grab Nabers as WR3 later, but I couldn't know at that moment.

    Have a great season everybody!

1 (2) - CeeDee Lamb - Making the decision on who to take after CMC going #1 overall was a difficult decisions. I was back and forth several times. But in the last week - Lamb signed, Tyreek's thumb hurt, Chase isn't signed. So it became easier and easier to select Lamb here. And the plan with drafting Lamb is to pair him with Dak as the 10th QB off the board.

    2 (19) - Travis Etienne Jr. and 3 (22) Kyren Williams -
In all the mock drafts I did I was able to get two of Etienne, Pachecho, K Williams, and Achane at this turn. Etienne was the easy choice for me on this turn. I figured Hot Garbage would take one of the RBS to make my decision easier after the turn. He went double WR, so I had to choose. It was a difficult decision - but I went with K Williams.

    4 (39) Devonta Smith -
In every mock I did this was James Cook. I love James Cook this year. And in my rankings I had him right in the tier with the guys I was deciding at 2/3 turn. But every mock I got him in round 4. Well of course Invictus always takes MY GUYS! So I decided to go with the last WR of a tier for me. Devonta Smith - nothing flashy - more of a consistent guy.

    5 (42) Alvin Kamara -
I keep hearing that when he came back from his suspension last year to the end of the season he was a top 5RB. And K Miller is starting season on IR, so he should be able to produce value here. And with adding Kamara - I knew I would have options for a team name to honour Toby Keith cause he sings so many songs about America!
After 5 - I have 3 RB and 2 WR. A typical start to a draft for me. I am happy with the mix of consistency and upside that I have through 5 picks. I also am looking at what the QB situation is. Four teams still need a QB and there are 4 QBs still on my list. 3 QBs that Yahoo has ranked ahead of Prescott. I should be fine to add WR/RB depth for picks 6 and 7 and let the other 3 teams pick Murray, Burrow and Love and then pick Prescott on my next turn at 8/9.

6 (59) James Connor - A good RB on a team that should score a lot more points this year with the addition of a true WR weapon. Should lead to Connor getting a bunch more TDs this year.

    7 (62) George Pickens -
I thought about picking Prescott here - just to ensure I have the stack with Lamb. But even if Prescott gets picked I will still have a QB I like with Murray, Burrow and Love on the board. One of those 4 will be available next turn. Pickens is the pick here. With the Aiyuk rumour to Pittsburgh, I feel that his ADP and value was a bit lower than it should be. The Top weapon for a team that I think will be behind in a lot of games. And who is their next best pass catcher? Freiermuth. The targets and receptions should be there!

    8 (79) Calvin Ridley and 9 (82) Chris Godwin
Oh I was disappointed with this this turn. Not just because I didn't get Prescott, but because I didn't get any of my QBS. 4 Potatoes took back to back quarterbacks in round 7 and 8 and really screwed over my plan. I guess I am playing the waiting game on QBs even longer now! Ridley and Godwin both could have boom years. Ridley the top target on Tenessee with Levis and Godwin got 1000 yards last year and only 2 TDs... he has to score more than 2 TDS this year!

    10 (99) Jayden Daniels
Okay League - I get the picture - no one is going to leave me a good QB... but wow. 3 or 4 Teams with backup QBS in round 10. I could play the wait game any longer. I took my #11 ranked QB... and I really hope his legs and arm are as good as they say they are. Supposedly a built in weekly floor because of his legs... you guys forced me into this one.

    After 10 - 1QB, 5WR, 4RB -
I am loving my depth at WR and RB and not super pumped with how the QB situation played out.

11 (102) - Jerome Ford - I learned my lesson with the QB situation too late. At the end of round 8 there was 9 TE already taken. So I figured Engram who was #7 on my list or Bowers who was #10 on my list would be around for a bit. After I picked my QB in Daniels - I went to check the TE situation again... and before My Daniels - both these two TE were taken. Backup Tight Ends, Backup QBS - I need to remember this for next year!!! So I took a RB that is going to start for at least the first 4 weeks. I took him with the mentality that if someone's RB ends up hurt - that maybe I can trade him for a Tight End!

    12 (119) Trevor Lawrence -
I never draft a back up QB - but I needed to in this one. I need to see Jayden Daniels play a game before I can fully trust him as my QB for the full season. So I picked a guy I think will have a bounce back season.

13 (122) TJ Hockenson - Looking ahead to when he is back - hopefully its sooner rather than later. And I think Sam Darnold can make TJ Hockenson a relevant tight end for the playoff push and hopefully playoffs where the Vikings have a good playoff matchup for Tight Ends.

    14 (139) TY Conklin -
Aaron Rodger has Garrett Wilson and then who else to throw to? I am hoping that Conklin can get 600+ yards again this year and enough TDs to be decent.

    15 (142) New Orleans Saints -
They play the Panthers in week 1... hopefully that is a good divisional matchup for them.

    QB - J. Daniels, T. Lawrence
RB - Etienne, K Williams, Kamara, Conner, Ford
WR - Lamb, D. Smith, Pickens, Ridley, Godwin
    TE - Conklin, Hockenson (IR)
    K - TBD
    DST - New Orleans Saints

My QB has a double digit bye week.

I usually don’t draft a 2nd QB when that’s the case as with just 10 teams there should be a decent one available when his bye week eventually comes.

That said, a lot of teams drafted 2nd QB’s this year and my QB does have injury history. I think I still like not taking a second, but does make me think more if that’s correct.

Mocks showed I could be flexible in going either 3WR 1 RB start or 2/2. RB’s didn’t fly off the board quite as fast so was worthwhile to go 2/2 route. By my 5th turn they were depleted which was fine for me I had my starting two already I could keep focusing on getting those value picks and still getting the positions I needed.

I read a lot about BestBall as that's what I drafted 2 weeks ago, and the consensus was the focus on WR early.

Very surprised to see people who wanted double RBs in the first three rounds.

Just like in hockey : knowing your settings is key.

If I drafted in top three I probably would have gone 3 WR 1 RB. I think draft position and what others are doing plays a role.

Sorry PH, it wasn't my plan to take two QBs at the turn but if you want to work a trade at some point, I'm all ears!
