Why not....MLB threads have been few and far between this year.

So it's really just who is the odd man out.
Seriously bro, do not keep Clase. Aside from just age old wisdom here, your league doesn't have a category for just Saves, it's SVHD (which means you don't need to have closers, setup men will work just fine). Your last picks in the draft should be for whatever relievers you need to fill your starting obligations. Once again, these do not have to be closers. They could all be setup men. And you will easily find these guys on the wire too. The first couple weeks of the season will be huge, nobody knows how those bullpens will shake out. And as the season goes on, anything can happen! Relievers are as streaky as they get (which is why you don't keep them, one year they're great, the next they're horrible). Guys come out of nowhere all the time.
Who is Hunter G? Greene? Gaddis?

If you are considering guys like Caminero and Chourio as potential keepers, that tells me you are looking at long term more than competing today so I would throw Kyle Schwarber back in for redraft. My only fear is hanging on to Caminero, who may not even be a regular player as early as next season. Keeping Clase doesn't scare me at all.

Well I am because my bats aren't the best. Having Ohtani/Betts/Tucker is a huge advantage though and finding that next stud is so enticing. My cheap SPs this year have carried me with the likes of Lugo, Keller, Taj and Taillon.
I also have Santander but he slow starts every year and was dropped the last two only to be picked up by me![]()
The league is a bit predictable....
Starters could be shaky sometimes, but keeping starters isn't generally frowned upon. Keeping relievers is. And that bit about SVHD with setup men being just as valuable as closers, that's 100 right there. Here is a quick list of a bunch of great relievers you could easily grab in the last rounds of the draft or even off the wire during the season. There is no need to be keeping closers in normal leagues, but especially not in ones that use SVHD. Notice the percent owned...
Griffin Jax 2.01 ERA 0.89 WHIP 25 SVHD 12.6% Owned
Jason Adam 2.34 ERA 0.92 WHIP 23 SVHD 13.2% Owned
Jojo Romero 2.38 ERA 1.01 WHIP 27 SVHD 11.7% Owned
Jeff Hoffman 1.88 ERA 1.00 WHIP 23 SVHD 19.2% Owned
Hunter Gaddis 1.37 ERA 0.76 WHIP 24 SVHD 9.1% Owned
Bryan Abreu 2.60 ERA 1.25 WHIP 27 SVHD 15.6% Owned
David Robertson 3.00 ERA 1.00 WHIP 25 SVHD 13.3% Owned
Daniel Hudson 1.76 ERA 0.85 WHIP 23 SVHD 13.1% Owned
Andrew Kittredge 3.12 ERA 1.14 WHIP 29 SVHD 6.6% Owned
Note, I use ESPN. So the % owned might be alittle different in your league, but it shouldn't be much.
Santander is actually probably the guy I look to trade. Career year and I believe he's a FA.
Don't get the hate on Schwarber. Elite runs, HR, RBI and OPS. Hitting at the top of an elite lineup.
