There was a joke about Robert Kraft and getting a happy ending and Brady went up and essentially said "we aren't joking about that".

Outside of that, Brady took everything very well. Schultz was hilarious, Brady's portion was funny too. Gronk and Edelman were prolly the worst. But they seemed like the really close friends who only said inside jokes that only they really knew, or found funny. They reminded me of a bad groomsman speech.

I did notice it seemed like Bledsoe, Edelman and Gronk were on something that wasn't just alcohol. Bledsoe touched his nose A TON, but that could have just been a nervous tick.

I thought Bledsoe was frigging hilarious.

There were a ton of dumb Gronk jokes.

Nikki Glaser with the joke of the night with the "Gronk know that not real money" in my opinion.

It's a negotiation tactic. He isn't going anywhere.

If the salary cap actually existed, I'd be more worried about him leaving. But it could come down to how much they trust Pearsall as a rookie in this offense. They can't keep everyone forever if they choose to pay Purdy something (currently getting paid $985k, and is a UFA in 2026).

Matt Milano with a torn bicep that will require surgery. Bills D really struggled when he was out last season. Sucks as a fan of the team. But for fantasy, I think this leads to more shootouts and increased opportunities for the pass catchers.

Slight uptick for Kincaid in my book and then a pick 'em for your favorite dart throw amongst Shakir, Coleman, Curtis Samuel, etc. I like Shakir most of that group in any setup that has points for receptions.

So... final roster cutdown day yesterday and nothing that really seems to alter the fantasy landscape. For me, highlights over the past 24'ish hours include:

--AJ Dillon to season ending IR. Josh Jacobs now a really nice, abeit unsexy, pick in season long leagues. Marshawn Lloyd intrigues me long term, but the amount of time he's missed with a hamstring injury is concerning. Nicks and dings are inevitable in football, but I DESPISE hamstring injuries as they tend to recur.

--Dalvin Cook signing to the Cowboys practice squad. I can't see any reason to draft Dalvin ever. But his signing does speak to the mess that is the Cowboys back field. The only one I was remotely interested in was Rico Dowdle, but I think this is just an avoid altogether situation now.

--Samaje Perine cut by the Broncos. He's an underrated player. I think him being cut bodes well for Davonte Williams. A year removed from his torn ACL; I think he could be in line for a nice bounce back (and also good value in the receptions department).

--Kadarius Toney cut by Chiefs. Good riddance. He'll get another shot in the NFL, but I think he's fantasy dead.

--Kendre Miller NOT cut by the Saints. Another guy with a concerning history of repeated soft tissue injuries. But the talent is there, somebody has to be in line to take some work from Kamara and he was reportedly a cut candidate as the coach grew frustrated at his lack of availability to practice. Put on IR, but presumably designated to return at some point.

--Noah Brown cut by Texans. They're pretty loaded at WR so not that surprising. But Brown has some talent and could find his way onto a team needing some WRE help (ahem, Buffalo).

I think Kincaid can have a solid season. Josh will look for him as a nice safety valve since he will need to build a trust level with a newish receiving corps. (More so because no Diggs/Davis combo). I also like Shakir but who knows.

Zeke back in Cowboy blue is a sleeper. He won’t wow you but he can get you those garbage yards and 2yard TDs in the RZ.

Another TE to watch for is Steelers’ Freiermuth. No matter who the starter is they can feel comfortable in dishing it to a capable guy in Freiermuth. If they jog out of the pocket (which Fields tends to do) then Patty is there for the picking.

I can see Joe Cool take it up a notch. Better numbers all around and with a healthy Chase, those 2 should have career best seasons. Can’t wait.

1 week out from game 1 of the season. Can't say I'm feeling the same "oomf" as past years, I don't know why. Maybe the lack of real offseason drama?

J.Chase didn't attend practice yesterday. All can change within a minute with contract disputes, but to me, he's on the Do-Not-Draft list for me at his normal draft position until he signs. He's likely off the board before I'm comfortable drafting him.

God I hope Chase signs tho as a Cincy fan.

As I expected, Aiyuk will sign an extension with the Niners. It was clear he really didn't want to go anywhere when he kept refusing to sign with other teams even after management had deals in place to trade him.

Initial thoughts on Brady in the booth was not good. It’s like he was gone to the washroom or not present many times. I think you could’ve played a drinking game for every “Wow” he said. The main guy (forget his name) gave him a ton of opportunities but Brady gave him dead air back. I don’t know but that’s the easiest money he’s ever made. Bring back Olsen. He has a voice where you need to see his face when talking, otherwise no.
