My entry is under the entries tab but not in the standings tab as well, if I could be added to the next standings update!
For whoever has edit rights...
The formula in row 30 is always a bugger and has to be updated for the current amount of teams.
The "$D$31:$BL$31" bit just has to be changed to "$D$31:$BR$31", since BR is where the last team entered in is... Then the formula copy-pasted over to all the other teams too.
Otherwise, it's ignoring the last 2 teams on the list (the ones after "BL") for ranking purposes, which is why dodo and markyj don't show up in the standings page (since their rank is "N/A" because the formula for those 2 teams goes past the 23 entries, while the first 21 use the first 21 teams).
Just checked in out of boredom, I'm doing better than last year but cut out my last fantasy hockey team this past summer so I haven't really been active anywhere hockey related. Glad to see this is still running regardless.

I actually didn't even notice two of the teams were not showing up because I was definitely just updating the stats quickly! These are the numbers I have now and hopefully correct. I have been using the Statistics from individual games for this so not sure if there is a better way. Maybe it will need an official run through at the very end from somewhere. The https://www.iihf.com/en/events/2024/...scoringleaders source doesn't have all of the players but maybe there is a different source that is used?
I recommend making those sorts of ranges huge in formulas where you need to calculate for spreadsheets that are single-purpose but constantly add data. With modern computing power ( late 90's and on) it's been fine as long as you're not linking sheets or stuff.
I'd change that "D$31:$BR$31" to D$31:$HH$31 or something like that to cover yourself so you never need to manually re-edit again. I can't tell you how many times I had to fix this sort of thing professionally over the decades.
It's the same sort of reason I sum columns at the top, the sum range can run down as far as I need.
Want a Signature? Go to Settings, and you'll find Edit Signature down the list on the left.
That would be ideal but with Rank in particular, at least the way the sheet was built, including teams that don't have a legitimate entry introduces "N/A's" into the system, thus breaking the formula and spitting out NA instead of a number.
These days I'd build it completely differently but I guess that's the difference between a teenager taking on a file that already existed and just following how it worked back in 2008 or whenever I took over, and an accountant in his 30's who's now had plenty of experience with Excel lol
REoulos - what I used to do was use this URL (you can change the year in the URL to get whichever year you want) - https://www.iihf.com/en/events/2024/...icialdocuments
Every day I would go through each game's "Game Summary" from the Game Reports section, and they you'd get the PDF that has full rosters for each player and what they got.
The "Player Statistics By Team" is what I'd use once the group stage was done (as an audit of sorts) and then once at the end, ignoring the teams who were not playing in the medal rounds (since relegation game stats don't count).
They used to make those documents easier to find but they kind of gated them a few years back, so I had it bookmarked (from 2022, changed to 2024 for above and it just worked!).

Great thanks! That's almost exactly my plan!
I have no idea who was originally going to update the stats so if the mystery person wants to take it over then by all means...
I just was curious and it didn't take too long so did it myself and now here we are!
After the QF games. Top 2 teams are both going to lose their SVK players, so this could be pretty close at the end.

I lost both my goalies today so I think I'm toast unfortunately. Driedger18 has both his still remaining so he could make a charge here.
2010, 2014, & 2024 WJC Pool Champion, 2020 Runner-Up
I had a little fun with the rosters of the top 6 teams (meaning everyone until my entry). There's actually some nice parity among the top 6. 18 players are only on one roster. 7 on 2 rosters, 6 on 3 and 6 on 4. Ryan Leonard on 5 rosters and Noah Ostlund on the top 6 rosters.
My entry has the most remaining players left, but I think I'm in too big a hold to come back.
watchingthegame is probably right, without his goalies and Slovaks it'll be hard for him to catch dodospice. But both of them only have 12 players left, although dodospice has goalie Havelid who in the medal round games could be a big factor (doubtful we see more blowouts so getting 2 points from a goalie is key). Marky J has only 13 players left, and one is goalie Fowler who looks like he's USA's backup. InForaPenny has 15 players left and Driedger18 has 16 left. I have 17 but I'm behind all those entries.
My best chance is Finland and Sweden winning and getting wins from Kokko and Havelid, and then a guaranteed win in the finals. So I'll be pulling for those teams in the semis!
GET WELL SOON, DOBBER.
I'm pretty much all in for Czechia at this point. Figure I'll go as far as they take me. It's exciting to still be involved in the chace though, not sure I've been this close to the top before.

Preliminary results after the Bronze medal game have the top 4 within 2 points of each other. I wasn't watching the game but it looked liked Hrabal did not get the win, which might be huge. Wow!
