Default Time to Trade these Old D?

    Keeper league, points only.

Getting some folks interrested in Letang and/or Hedman. I believe it's time to trade them before they regress...

Is offering my Letang and Hedman for Edvinsson, Ghule & Foerster is enough?

If he's asking for Letang only, is getting Ghule + Schmid would be enough?

Points Only. What is Goalie scoring W=2 SO = ?
What are roster sizes and what does the rest of your roster look like?

Trade 1 is a tear it down rebuild. Both Hedman and Letang are still producing D-men, they face challenges from Sergachev and Karlsson but will still put up points.
I would want top end prospects back for either and the group you listed is not enough.

    Trade 2
Letang can continue to put up 50+ points for the Penguins even with Karlsson on the team.
Ghule + Schmid is getting significantly younger and a big step back this season.

So I would pass on both trades. If you're looking to gut your team and rebuild look for higher end pieces than those you listed.
12 team H-2-H 1 year league, daily roster changes, 3 goalie start minimum/week
    2xC, 2xRW, 2xLW, 4xD, 3xUtil, 2xG, 5 Bench
G, A, P, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, Hits, W, SV%, GAA, SVs
C: A. Matthews, JT Miller, T. Thompson, B. Nelson, PL Dubois, D. Strome, T. Zegras
    LW: F. Forsberg, J. Robertson, K. Fiala, A. Lafreniere(NYR),
    RW: A. Kempe, C. Giroux,
    D: R. Dahlin, M. Weegar, D. Nurse, N. Dobson
    G: S. Bobrovsky, C. Talbot, J. Daccord

Just traded Hedman in the off season. Received Dunn, 1st, and a 2nd for this year and a supplemental pick for next year.

Hedman for Dunn, L. Hutson and Stankoven, +.

Not a bad return, for a full rebuild.

Depending where you're going, I think Hedman/Letang still hold more value, but its not far off.

Depending where your at (rebuild or not)?.

    Goalie W = 2 SO = 2.

I won the last 5 years, having McDavid, Draisaitl, Marner, Kucherov, Malkin, Sergachev, etc.

My weakness is in goal with Jarry & Ullmark.

    My D;
    Sergachev
    Pietrangelo
    Klingberg
    Rielly
    Dobson

Letang would be my last player... Hedman would be on my bench.
I could replace Letang with Perunovich, Joseph or Broberg, depending which of these youngster are going to emerge this year.

Trying to get younger here to pursuie my dynasty a bit longer. I predict myself still 150pts ahead of my challenger, so even if I lose 25pts by switching Letang to Perunovich, I'm fine with it.

    Pretty good return!

So yeah I'll try to get a better return... thanks!

How many players do you start at each position?
If your weakness is in goal why not try and move Hedman and/or Letang (again still elite/upper tier D-men) for help in goal? Schmid is some help but a legitimate starter would be preferred....

I would be playing Hedman and Letang ahead of Pietrangelo, Klingberg, Reilly and Dobson so do not understand how either could end up on your bench....

    Have to start 6x D.

    You are right, my current starters are;
    Sergachev
    Dobson
    Pietrangelo
    Letang
    Rielly
    Hedman

But I have no fear to replace Hedman by Klingberg.

If I can, I'm always managing with a 3 years window. So for me this is the curent window to sell Hedman since he still have great values.
But I do agree Letang is still productive, I believe I should keep him.

Ullmark & Jarry are going to be fine this year. But I want some prospects ready if I need to replace Ullmark next year (sure Boston are going to play Swayman mid term).
I've got Tarasov on my bench but I want to improve it. I believe Schmid should be starter by then.

That being said you're right, I'll ask for more. Something like Hedman vs Edvinsson + Schmid might be more reasonnable.

These offers look like the pu pu platter. I'm all for selling older guys but only if you get pieces of significant upside to replace them. Often times you can't do well selling old guys unless it's around the trade deadline when teams are trying to push their squads over the top.
