Default Akira Schmid or Joseph Woll?

I have the opportunity to draft one of those, but I am very torn on this one.

I prefer Schmid and the Devils ( I don’t think Vanecek is very good, He just have the contract).

In the other hand, I would love to securise the net of Toronto, as I own Samsonov ( and I don’t trust him to stay healthy).

What is your advice on this?

    Thanks!!

Personally, I prefer Schmid and it has nothing to do a fear of Vanacek (I have no fear of Vanacek FWIW). I just think he's the better goalie in watching both play but I can appreciate why you'd want the handcuff. I dont either is a bad choice.

I would take Schmid. You can always see if Woll is available with your next pick, but I find more often you win out by not playing it safe with your own handcuff.

Schmid for me. There's always a chance that the tape he put on to end last season leads to him being exposed this season, but I like his odds of contributing more this season than Woll. I don't worry about Samsonov losing his #1 gig to Woll like I do Vanecek losing it to Schmid.

I'd also lean towards Schmid, unless you're in a league with a lot of Leafs fans, and Woll will have amazing market value - as in the Leafs goalie tandem for a straight up better goalie or just a far better player.
