Comish Dynasty Draft 2023

[The Comish]

Welcome to our 3 round draft! All 3 rounds will be in this one thread. We can make our picks before the schedule (all times Eastern Standard Time) kicks in, but please do not pick until ALL of the picks have been made in front of yours. If you take a player that is on another team's roster or an ineligible player, we won't go back, but you can make another selection to replace that ineligible pick. You can jump in anytime once you realize your pick was made in error.

When your draft date/time come up, you are good to make your pick, even if not all of the picks in front of you have been taken.

Players eligible to be drafted must have been drafted or signed by an NHL team (at any time in their career) and are not on another team's roster in our league.

Just a clarification, players dropped once the draft starts cannot be drafted. Normally, dropped players go through 3 day waivers where anyone can make a claim. That's not possible during the draft phase, so no drafting of those players.

The Zamboni Draveurs were hoping that River Dogs had undertaken a transcendental analysis and would have made a pick from left field. Alas, they stuck with the script.
An appropriate reward for having won the playoffs. All through the playoffs, I thought that if I had managed to hang on, my reward might be Michkov. Alas Super Nintendo made the point moot.

A very nice conselation prize (I hope his feelings aren't hurt; I'll hire a psychologist) - especially considering that for much of the season I was barely in a playoff spot.
And I hope that whoever picks Zach Benson will be very happy as I selected him in other leagues! Too many leagues...
