I'm guessing that the trade value inflation there only relates to Dumba? I've heard nothing about Moser being a trade candidate.

Just curious what data tells you Valimaki is a better player?

To me, Durzi makes the most sense. My main concern with Durzi on the PP is he doesn't shoot the puck enough so I am skeptical on his effectiveness back there. Then again, looking at the other options they have, none of them seem to shoot the puck much either, other than Dumba, who I think will still get a look there. I am not sure on what Tourigny is expecting/planning, or Assistant Coach Blaine Forsythe, who will be running the power play. Maybe a shot from the point isn't in their game plan/design. Could also be why Arizona is one of the least effective teams on the power play.

I don't have data but from the scouting reports I've read, Durzi is the riskier, offensive player while Valimaki plays a more sound, well-rounded game.

I'm just the supplier, I'm not selling anything. He said he didn't have any data, I supplied data. The data is what it is.

Not sure why Daydream answered the question. He’s not the one who said Valimaki was the much better player. Rtstr was. Still waiting on some info on why this is.

I thought this was interesting. 7.5% less Oz starts, but 1.8% difference in Corsi. Valimaki relied upon more for defensive zone play. (not sure where my snip of the chart went)
Now they're on the same team... we'll find out shift vs. shift.

Really just eye test. I think Durzi makes more mistakes with the puck. Valimaki seems more poised, skates more fluidly. I think he's better in all situations. I like both players though!

From a data perspective, what Vali did after Ghost left was really impressive to me, especially considering how bad Arizona was and the level of talent Vali was up against on a nightly basis.

I was really surprised at his d-zone start %. Feels like he may be relied on more as the all around guy while Durzi runs the PP.
