I was on track for my lowest score ever having got all single digit percentages for my first 7. But for the life of me I could not come up with a Bruins/Avalanche player outside the obvious consensus or a Tampa goalie with 20+ wins other than the top 2 choices. I had already used the second most popular pick in the TB/EDM square.

I got the #2 choice on two picks.
My BOS/EDM pick was too gritty... I should've gone more finesse.
And... a bit surprised consensus pick on the BOS goalie.
Amazing that guy is the "preferred" choice... must be the "Cup".
I went with the better & more recent guy.

Looking at that TB-COL picks... wow... I could see the #3 guy being remembered.
But feels like a LOT of people were cheating today for the #1 guy to be who he was.
C'mon... people shouldn't remember this guy!

And 3700+ people got 9/9... IDK... I'm looking at "score distribution" and I don't think 40% of people can knock out that TB/COL square if I can't.
I suppose... if one can remember Stanley Cup rosters... in FULL... they could get this. For me - it just seems like a forgettable player.
I was running through everybody I could recall off top of my head from both COL & TB recent rosters... and his name did not come up.at.all.
The guy hasn't even ever score 10 goals in a season... ever. And it's not like he's a fighter or known for something.

I was 8/9 but through gross buffoonery. I accidently entered my goalie for the bruins in the corner for “all with one team” and “20+ wins” knowing it would not have been correct. Ah well.

I didn't think active players would still count for one team career... totally missed out on some major points there.
Struggled finding one - until I thought of a career ending injury.

I also thought the King would get more than 10% - being the most recent superstar goalie to only play with one team.

176 today. I tend to end up with the consensus picks when there’s a row involving international competition. Had the LA and Washington ones but managed to pull a 0.5% on the St Louis one with a slightly more obscure name.

Hamrlik was my other thought for TBL/EDM... glad I went with the Bulin Wall.

I'm still shocked how often people use Jagr... I seem to forget him for the two Western teams he played for.
My CGY/WAS guy very RECENTLY spent 4 years on Calgary followed by 4 years on Washington... but I guess that wasn't enough.
People - apparently - can remember PE Bellemare recently grinding on two teams 4th lines for two years...
But they can't remember a 3rd liner grinding on two teams for 4 years. Okay.

I missed the CGY/STL popular player... went with a sniper that was traded (to STL) for peanuts in the 80s.

Some reason I could quickly remember MacTavish for BOS/EDM, but not a Hart winner that currently plays on BOS...
That costed me 32 uniqueness.

I almost always try to get the lowest score I can, but maybe next time there’s an international one, I’ll shoot for the high score.

As far as Jagr goes, he is a go to for me if I can’t think of anyone else but I also often forget the western teams he played for

I usually play during afternoon or evening. So everyone has been picked a few times already so hardly any 0.1%.
My challenge was always get the most popular pick. Get a real low pick (under 2%). Complete it 9/9.

Tied my personal record today at 66… unfortunately one player made up over half of that! I totally blanked on what should have been an easy square to come up with someone other than the consensus for DAL/MIN. But I’m proud of the names that came to mind for some of the others.

2 Sharks players who share a last name but are of no relation worked as one finished his career in Florida and the other started his career in Minny. And they were only 1% and 4%.
